since I am sitting outside of the US and since Pandora does not like my European IP, I am thinking about giving my Chumby a fancy vpn. There seem to be some US-based vpn-services which offer OpenVPN or PPTP vpns. But I am not sure if the Chumbys CPU has enough power for an encrypted vpn connection additional to the wireless and flash and...?
I have an OpenVPN server running on my router/modem which runs with AR7@212mhz (at home but I am use my Chumby at my work place... ). It is working but every now and then you notice that the CPU is pretty loaded...
So I am wondering if a Chumbys additional ~140mhz are enough to provide enough power for a vpn?
